Sculpt & Send is a hands-on, impossibly fun group activity that works in creative, business, and education settings. The format stays simple: your group sculpts in wax, we cast each piece in solid bronze, and the finished sculptures are delivered a few weeks later.

Bulk buy kits for venues, artists, and event hosts
If you already run workshops or creative events, bulk kits are the simplest way to add Sculpt & Send to your offerings. Order discounted kits in volume, host the session in your own space, then collect the wax sculptures and return them to us when the session is complete.
From there, we take care of the foundry work. Each wax is cast in solid bronze and sent back once finished, ready for participants to keep. Aimed at artists, sculptors, studios, galleries, and art event spaces who want to run the experience independently, with the freedom to set the tone and lead the session your way.
Fun team and corporate events
For businesses planning a team day, seasonal get-together, or anniversary celebration, we can run the Sculpt & Send session for you from start to finish. We bring everything needed, guide the group through the wax process, and keep the pace relaxed so it works well for mixed abilities.
Hosted sessions can take place at your workplace or at an agreed event space. After the session, we collect the wax sculptures, cast them in bronze back at The Lost Foundry, then deliver the completed bronzes a few weeks later. Delivery can be to one address or to individual recipients if that suits your team.
One day bronze casting experience for teams
If you want something even more immersive, we offer a full foundry day condensed into a single visit, with lunch included. The experience is hosted at the foundry and is built for teams who want hands-on making, real materials, and a memorable story to take back to work.
Each attendee pre-selects a piece from the TLF Studios collection. We prepare those pieces in advance so your team can see a bronze pour happening on the day, then you move through key stages of the process together.
During the day, your group will:
Watch a pour and follow what happens next in the foundry workflow
Sculpt in wax using Sculpt & Send kits while the morning cast cools
Take part in the ceramic shell stage for their wax piece
Return to the bronze cast earlier in the day to fettle the metal and apply patination with guidance
Attendees leave with a finished bronze from the day, and their Sculpt & Send bronze is posted to them a few weeks later once casting is complete. Lunch is included.
School and college experiences
Our education package is designed for end-of-term activities, enrichment days, and creative learning that links classroom making with a visit to a working foundry. It runs as a two-part programme made up of two half-day sessions.
Session one takes place at your school or college. We bring Sculpt & Send kits and work with students as they create their wax pieces. Session two takes place at the foundry. Students visit for a tour, witness a pour of their waxes, then work on the metal and experience patination before taking their finished sculptures home.
